Established in 2020

Founded by owner and mentor Houston Owens, Kings Grooming Lounge (KGL) began as a vision to inspire purpose and growth in others while fulfilling Houston’s personal ambitions and truths. Since its inception, KGL has expanded into a thriving hub of professionalism and community, boasting multiple barbers and beauticians who have collectively served over 1,000 clients in Mobile, AL.

Introducing Krown Barber Academy

As KGL grows, so does its commitment to giving back to the community. We now proudly offer Barber Classes through our program, Krowwn Barber Academy.
Our 1500-hour program, completed over 7-12 months, is designed to prepare future professionals for success in the barbering industry. We focus on teaching the fundamentals, including safety and healthy practices, alongside the artistry of hairstyling. With the tools and knowledge we provide, students are equipped to become licensed professionals who can elevate the standard in their craft.
